Gaco Western Adds Jobs – and Bricks and Mortar

June 20, 2013 10:37 am

June 20, 2013 – Five years ago, Gaco Western’s Wisconsin workforce numbered 17; today that number is 70 and growing. From Solvent-Free Silicone to Spray Foam Insulation, Gaco has experienced record growth not only in sales, but in employee base and facility size.

Just four years ago the company completed construction of a 55,000 sq. ft. facility in Waukesha, WI, comprised of offices, manufacturing facilities, and a high-tech research and development facility. Last year, Gaco broke ground on an 85,000 sq. ft. expansion to more than double the size of the Waukesha facility and provide for a significant increase in the laboratory areas to support the company’s focus on technology and formulation development.

On June 12, the company celebrated the opening of this expansion with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony attended by elected officials from throughout the State of Wisconsin, customers from throughout the United States, about 100 local suppliers who contribute to the Gaco success story and the Gaco employees who make it all possible.

Between this facility, offices in Seattle, WA and Buffalo, NY, and a sales force located throughout the United States, Gaco Western today employs 128 people with ongoing additions planned. The company’s end-of-year headcount is projected to be approximately 150.
