High-Solids Aliphatic Traffic Coating System
GacoPoly Elasto-Deck 6500 is a two-component aliphatic urethane, liquid-applied traffic coating system designed for pedestrian and vehicular traffic applications such as parking decks, roof decks, balconies, breezeways, and mechanical rooms. The aliphatic formulation provides long-lasting color stability and UV resistance, helping to reduce sun damage in high-exposure traffic areas. Due to it’s low-odor properties, 6500 is ideal for indoor or high-traffic environments, minimizing disruptions during application.
During surface preparation, use GacoSeal SM7120 PU to caulk all expansion, control, and construction joints. All surfaces must be completely free of foreign matter and primed with Elasto-Poxy Primer WB or Elasto-Poxy Primer VOC, where necessary. Material will perform best when applied between 70°F and 80°F. Once mixed, immediately pour Elasto-Deck 6500 onto the surface of the substrate and apply immediately.
Gaco offers material and labor warranties for up to 20 years on GacoPoly Elasto-Deck systems when applied according to specifications.
