GacoFlex A48 Series is an innovative, high-build, fast-cure, acrylic elastomeric roof coating. It offers long roof life, upgraded visual appeal, strong adhesion, high tensile strength, and excellent reflectivity, while reaping the additional advantages of enhanced film build and reduced cure time.
It can be applied as a roof maintenance coating over many existing roof substrates, including single-ply, metal, sprayed-in-place polyurethane foam, and asphalt membranes. GacoFlex A48 provides early rain resistance in as little as 30 minutes, with complete cure through in around 8 hours*.
GacoFlex A48 is designed for maintenance applications for situations where the roof requires a renewal of the membrane surface due to the effects of aging and use.** You can use GacoFlex A48 and GacoRoofFoam together for a total roof replacement solution. Additionally, this single-component acrylic coating can be applied at a thickness of up to 80 wet mils (5 gal/SQ) with a single pass using a standard airless sprayer—even on vertical applications.
