GacoBase U95

 A Sustainable, Cost-Effective Alternative for Encapsulating Built-Up Gravel Roofs

GacoBase U95 is a two-component urethane maintenance base coat designed to streamline roof restoration across a variety of substrates—helping you restore more roofs, with lower labor and material costs, without compromising on performance.

GacoBase forms a tough, durable film that protects foam substrates and prevents oil migration on asphalt roofs—without the need for bleed-blocking primers. It’s ideal for extending the life of aged asphaltic, single-ply, BUR and previously coated roof systems.

GacoBase may be brush-applied or rolled over existing single-ply systems and carries roof maintenance coating approvals from both UL and FM. Once applied, it is ready for top coat in as little as 4 hours. 

Made with renewable castor oil, GacoBase provides a sustainable, bio-based alternative to traditional roofing materials, reducing dependency on petroleum products and supporting eco-friendly building practices. It is low VOC and compliant in all 50 states.

Built-Up Gravel Roof Encapsulation

For built-up gravel roofs, remove loose aggregate using vacuum equipment, then flood coat GacoBase to encapsulate approximately 75% of the remaining embedded gravel—preparing the surface for a GacoFlex top coat of urethane, silicone, or acrylic to meet the specific needs of the building, location, and durability requirements.
