Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the fundamentals of Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) roofing technology, including material composition, installation methods, and performance characteristics.
  • Evaluate key design considerations for SPF roof systems, including drainage, substrate compatibility, wind uplift, and code compliance requirements.
  • Understand the purpose and performance of protective coatings used over SPF roofs, including weather resistance, UV protection, and maintenance considerations.
  • Identify appropriate applications for SPF roofing systems across new construction, reroofing, and retrofit projects.
